No one else had
anything new to bring up so the floor was closed for new business. The Commissioner
had no rule changes to go through so he went on to do his annual Commissioner’s
Report:
1 –
Finances:
Advised that
all payouts were completed the day after the end of the season. The
Commissioner advised that this was possible due to the fact that he did not
procrastinate this year and plans to continue this tradition going forward.
Advised as
to why we don’t use a financial application such as LeagueSafe or some other
version of that.
Advised that
despite an extra week being added to the NFL season (which means extra costs for
weekly high score) that the finances equalled $0 and as always, a financial
statement was available by request. Also advised that there would be no changes
to payouts or league fees going into the 2022 season. League fees remain at $70,
Pick’em $5, no fees for trading and all payouts would remain the same.
2 – Lottery
Ball Results:
Advised that
the lotter ball was done with the following parameters:
Dumber Luck
(4 balls)
She-Devils
(3 balls)
Atlantic
Bucs (2 balls)
Inglorious
Bastards (1 ball)
After the
lottery was held, the only change was that the She-Devils moved up 1 spot and
Dumber Luck moved down 1 spot. See draft order below to see how this impacted
things.

4 – Miscellaneous:
a) Commissioner advised that on the
Darcman site, he has added all the new league records (2 were broken this
season) and has also added a complete history of all the DFFL2 Champions
(except for 2009 as no one remembers who won that year sadly).
b) Advised that while the Commissioner
did have some proposals of his own to make, he can’t remember/can’t find where
he wrote them down so they will have to wait until next season
c) Commissioner thanked everyone for
their patience and dedication to this league especially through these odd covid
times. Looks like covid is going to continue to be a thing for quite awhile so
your patience is appreciated.
Thanks again
to everyone involved in this league, it may be run decently by me, but it is ultimately
the owners who make the league great. Thank you everyone!
